that's a lot of dirt!
isn't that gross? a lot of it is actually carpet and rug fuzz. but I just had the carpets cleaned about a month ago. no wonder I have allergies. I think my old vacuum was actually depositing dirt instead of sucking it up!
We recently got a carpet steamer. The water in the machine after we were through was completely disgusting! If I ever buy a house I want hardwood floors; carpet scares me.
I put new floors in in Dec 2004. Half the house is pergo, although I have an area rug in the living room (the gross green stuff). The other half is a berber that I think I'm going to pull out because of my allergies. Kills me because I put a lot of $$$ into it. But yeah, carpet is a big yuck collector, especially with a dog.
