sometimes we don't realize just how good we've got it!
California is a hot-bed of cycling. we all know that. we have one of the largest cycling populations in the country. and yea, the racing world isn't perfect -- many women wish there were more opportunities to race against their peers in single-category races instead of combined fields.
but you know, we've really got it pretty good.

extra, extra! read all about it in the Boise Weekly.
good job, Marti!

wow! 19 racing women in Idaho!
we really are lucky around here. we have so many opportunities for different kinds of racing around here.
we really are fortunate, nor cal has always been a great place for racing, training, and regular bike riding...
we are so lucky...
cool beans.
We are lucky, but I would love not to race against girls in their 20's. On the plus side, it only forces us to train harder and by racing against stronger and faster women, we only become stronger and faster (assuming we can keep pace with them).
