how come the snow level here in berkeley is around 1000 ft and there's no snow where you are? Are you still in Colorado?

still in colorado.....this is cheyenne canyon just outside colorado springs. there's now, but with 330 days of sunshine a year, it doesn't last forever. on the ride up the mountain there were banks of 2-foot snow (and it was cold). and there was plenty of ice on the dirt/sand downhill -- talk about epic! two tunnels (one that you couldn't see through).
although I've had fun, most of the time we're sitting on our butts!
330 days a year of sun! wow!
I could almost consider living here....
